The Opportunity

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team! In this role, you'll drive development, testing, and implementation while mentoring others.

What We Are Looking For From You

• You have a passion for developing and architecting websites and web services with the latest, modern techniques, while ensuring quality by building comprehensive test automation where it matters the most
• You are someone who thrives in a collaborative, cooperative environment, and gets excited about trying new technologies and new approaches to enhancing the quality and value of the software we deliver
• You have good communication skills in English, to share thoughts and ideas with the team acting in part as a coach/mentor
• You are a team player who understands the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication with the team, peers, other teams and senior management
• You have a strong drive for excellence in your work, are highly organized, detailed-oriented, thorough, and follow through on commitments, but can understand where and when to apply these qualities
  
  

What You Have Done Before

• Deep knowledge of .NET
• Experience with relational databases
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in web development
• Familiar with asynchronous/streaming messaging technologies such as Kafka
• Experienced in writing automated unit and integration tests, ideally using xUnit
• Experienced in monitoring services to ensure uptime, optimize performance, and proactively troubleshoot issues
  
  

What Else Would We Really Like To See

We solve a lot of different kinds of problems for our customers, and we rely on a lot of different technologies to get the best answer. Wed love to have you on the team if you also have:

• Familiar with IaC tools
• Full stack experience or ambitions, to contribute towards wider technology discussions/decisions. (e.g. TypeScript, React, Flutter)
• Familiar with working in Agile environments
  
  

Please note: we're trying to build a great company culture and a cohesive office, which means that this is an in-office opportunity. There will be travel - Stockholm, London, Zurich etc. but when in Budapest this is a 5-days in the office role.
