In collaboration with Allianz Lebensversicherungs AG, we develop a rating engine for life insurance products, crucial for calculating premiums and benefits. We seek a software developer (m/f/d) to enhance this engine using C/C++, Java, and other tools.What you do
- Development, test, build, deployment and operation of insurance-related software with professional use of modern technologies, processes and agile working methods
- Independent analysis and implementation of business requirements as well as technical processes
- Supporting the automation and optimization of development tools, as well as build, deployment and test procedures
- Review and optimization of related workflows on a regular basis
- Completed studies in (business) computer science or comparable qualification
- First work experience is welcome
- Mastery of programming techniques in C or mastery of another programming language combined with a willingness to learn C
- Experience in working with Git and cloud environments, e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- Ability to analyze complex issues quickly and formulate them precisely, combined with a strong solution orientation.
- High degree of independence, ability to work in a team, personal responsibility and customer orientation.
- Flexibility, commitment and interest in familiarizing yourself with the technical background
- Very good knowledge of German (at least B2 level)
- Proficiency in C / C++ and MS-Visual Studio, Version management: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes), Microsoft Teams
