The Opportunity

If you were to join Basis Technologies in our JavaScript Developer position, you can expect to:

• Work on one of our core products to develop, test and implement a new Cloud-based feature
• Develop and maintain software applications using JavaScript and other applicable frameworks
• Create innovative, robust and supportable solutions
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues
• Document software designs, code, and test cases
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Is this opportunity for you?

To help you establish whether this role is for you, these are the key foundational characteristics you will need to be set up for success:

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript
• In-depth understanding of Node.js
• Experience in writing unit tests
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Business level written and spoken English and Hungarian
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
• Keen attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

• Experience of developing within the SAP CAP framework
• Understanding of SAP development concepts, guidelines and architecture
