Tasks

We are looking for a senior Java developer with cloud expertise and 5+ years of relevant experience. Background or expertise in fintech is appreciated as you will be involved in a project in this sector.

Requirements

We are looking for a specific skill set that would allow you to dive right into our activities and contribute to our projects from day 1.

To join us, you will need extensive knowledge of:

Java 8 or later, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud

• Cloud: AWS
• Databases: Relational Backend Database, NoSQL database, JdbcTemplate
• Strong Distributed Systems Foundations
• Interprocess Communication: REST, Google Protocol Buffers, etc.
• ORM: Hibernate or similar
• Testing: JUnit 4, TDD, jBehave, Cucumber or similar
• Version control: GIT

It's also nice to have experience with:

Schema Migration: Liquibase, Flyway or similar

• Streaming Technology: Kafka, AWS Kinesis
• Orchestration: Airflow, Cadence, etc.

The following soft skills are highly appreciated:

Self-starter, proactive in finding solutions

• Experience working in a distributed team
• A strong sense of ownership
