Our Exciting Opportunity!

We are looking to hire a DevOps-minded Developer with proven hands-on development experience in automated CI/CD pipelines, open-source component integration, and non-functional feature delivery.

You will

  • Be responsible for typical activities including installation, integration, and configuration of the tools along with developing reusable code, frameworks, unit and system verification tests, solution integration, and lifecycle management artifacts
  • Possess ability in coding, scripting, integration, verification, and O&M operations around the entire lifecycle of solution delivery, the development shall be conducted in an Agile environment
  • Strive to develop adjacent skills and drive a continuous learning culture by sharing and promoting new insights, approaches, and patterns across the delivery teams
  • Seek opportunities to teach others how to use the tools and promote a culture of automation
  • Manage HW clusters: Planning, installation, configuration, error resolution, administration, monitoring, sizing of Host and OS (SUSE, RedHat), VM management (VmWare), Kubernetes, Storage solutions (Ceph, rook-ceph, ceph fs, MinIO)
  • Create microservice images and helm charts
  • Integrate with REST APIs (PM,FM, Licensing) via MTLS
  • Develop, integrate and maintain CICD pipeline automation for microservices/images
  • SW unit testing& system testing in DevOps projects
  • Execute product configuration automation
  • Identify and drive improvements for the DevOps pipeline
  • Ensure the quality gates are properly implemented
  • Automate repeatable and error-prone processes
  • Take an active part in issue triage and remediation

To be successful in the role you must have

  • 3-5 years experience in system administration or development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of recent DevOps Engineer experience
  • Authoritative knowledge in Linux administration
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Source Control Management Systems, team code collaboration tools: e.g. Git, Gerrit
  • Experience in Build Automation (e.g. Maven, Gradle, Ant), Configuration Management (e.g. Ansible), CI/CD Pipeline Development (e.g. Jenkins2, Spinnaker), Containers and Container management and application management (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Experience with artifact repository and static code analysis: Artifactory, SonarQube
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages and formats: Java, JSON, YAML, XML/XSLT, Python, bash
  • Experience with Scrum, Agile, and DevOps environment
  • Experience implementing a DevOps pipeline and helping drive adoption
  • Very comfortable using a command-line interface
  • Will to share and guide project resources in multiple areas of the software development lifecycle
  • Domain experience: Cloud, virtualization, Containerization, DevOps, Agile, CICD tools
  • Innovative and Automation Attitude
  • Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Solid development skills in at least one of the following technology stacks: Python, Java, and Java-based languages
  • Certifications in public cloud technologies
  • Experience with Telco and big data systems
  • Familiarity with Free Open Source Software, its principles, and licenses

It's a plus if have:

  • Solid experience with CNCF components/projects (examples: Prometheus, Argo, FOSSA, Zabix, Kafka, ZooKeeper, Spark, etc)
  • If you have ISEB/ISTQB software testing qualifications, DevOps certification, or Agile certification that
  • Hands-on experience with Jira automation
  • Experience with PKI infrastructure know-how (certificates, keys, encryptions)
