Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be working in an open organization, where we constantly seek and apply ways how to create value working in an enterprise delivering value to customers, using open-source technology.

You will be a product Software Developer working on IBM Cloud Satellite product, IBM’s hybrid cloud solution. The role includes coding, testing, and supporting the own-developed service in production.

You will be a key member of IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service (IKS) development team, working across timezones to create the best user experience for our Customers.

You will be developing our Cloud itself, creating native Kubernetes services, programming in Go language.

You will join the team that develops the business logic and orchestration engine of our native microservices, exposed to Customers globally.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
You need to have BsC/MsC/PhD in Computer Sciences or similar, so we can speak the same language and rely on Your fundamentals
You need to have experience in Object-Oriented design principles, developed service or product, using Java and Python preferred, so You understand the benefits and have idea about the right-way to serve Customers
You need to be open that You will need to learn Go, as that is the de-facto language our machines speak
You need to be open that You will need to learn a lot more, and we are here to help and also learn from You!

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience in Go coding? Vow, that is a great plus!
Experience using Docker to build and run applications, using Kubernetes as an orchestration system will just make Your life easier
Experience with CI/CD frameworks including Jenkins, Travis CI or managing Your code life cycle in Git will make You ready to start on day 1.
