WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a C++ software developer, you'll be at the heart of implementing cutting-edge software functions, that are crafted by integrating various programming languages and technologies, ensuring a robust and versatile approach.

You'll collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary project team, including software developers, hardware engineers, scientists, salespersons, and support engineers. Your strong cooperation with team members in both Hungary and Denmark will be essential to our success.

Working within the Scrum framework, you'll be part of a dedicated team of 6-8 software experts, including developers, testers, and software product owners. We enjoy significant freedom in making technological decisions, provided they align with project goals. Typically, our projects span 2-3 years, offering you the opportunity to see your contributions come to life.

Your daily work will be based at Soft Flow research center in Pécs, Hungary, with the flexibility of partial home office possibilities.

Your primary tasks will involve:

• Depending on your interest and expertise, you can either implement low-level C++ code to bring hardware components to life or focus on developing higher business logic layers of analytical instruments and software platforms.
• Integrate C++ code in complex solutions with C# modules and web-based user interface.
• Collaborate with product owners, hardware engineers and domain specialists to design new products, implement the solution and test the software with the physical devices
• Redesign and enhance existing solutions based on the customers needs.

YOUR CORE COMPETENCIES

• Solid knowledge of C++ language, at least 3 years of development experience
• We are an international company; therefore, we expect your English to be fluent.

It is a great plus if you have:

• Knowledge of multiple design patterns, SOLID principles, scripting languages or C#
• Experience with distributed, real-time multiprocessor systems (ARM / Cortex), RTOS, Zephyr, FPGA, CAN, USB
• Electrical engineering background or experiences in this area
